Registration process

From interest to participation

Registration for WRO® takes place in several steps. The coach or school contact person usually handles team registration and communication with the organizers.

Form a team

Each team consists of 2–3 students and an adult coach. Teams choose an age group and competition category.

Review your equipment

Check which robotics kits, computers, practice areas, and materials the school or team already has access to.

Register the team

The coach registers the team, competition category, age group, and contact information before the registration deadline.

Prepare for the tournament

Once the season theme and rules are published, teams begin preparing for the national tournament in spring.

Joint equipment order

Schools and teams can take part in a joint equipment order for the next season.

15 December

Team registration

Coaches register teams, age groups, and competition categories for the national tournament.

Theme and rules published

The new season theme, missions, and rules are published, and team preparation begins.

WRO® Iceland national tournament

The next national tournament will take place at Háskólabíó in Reykjavík.
